Deuteronomy 11.13-14
If, then, you obey the commandments that I enjoin upon you this day, loving the Lord your G-d and serving Him with all your heart and soul, I will grant the rain for your land in season, the early rain and the late. You shall gather in your new grain and wine and oil~ Deuteronomy 11.13-14

. . . Not always shall the needy be ignored,
nor the hope of the afflicted forever lost.

Seek good and not evil,
That you may live,
And that the L-rd, the G-d of Hosts,
May truly be with you,
As you think.
Hate evil and love good,
And establish justice in the gate;
Perhaps the L-rd, the G-d of Hosts,
Will be gracious to the remnant of Joseph.

Humans are mere breath;
mortals, illusion;
placed on a scale all together,
they weigh even less than a breath.
Do not trust in violence,
or put false hope in robbery;
if force bears fruit, pay it no mind.
One thing G-d has spoken;
two things have I heard:
that might belongs to G-d,
and faithfulness is Yours, O L-rd,
to reward each according to their deeds.
